Anne Neville's Surviving Letters

Mixed Needs Review evidence packet

Topic: Anne Neville's Surviving Letters

Overview

This packet preserves the currently located source trail for surviving letters by Anne Killigrew Neville. It corrects the earlier working gap in the main Anne packet: the letters are not merely Twitter or blog leads. Ken's 2019 email identifies five letters by Anne Killigrew Neville, and local image/PDF witnesses have now been copied into the Neville Book research folder.

This packet is not yet a final transcription packet. The safe present claim is that image witnesses exist locally and that working visual transcriptions now exist in the MegaLetters corpus for the two Windebank letters and three Anne/Cecil letters. Those transcriptions are stronger than OCR or Twitter leads, but they still need line-by-line image collation before book quotation.
