Bacon, ii.19. No year given, but from internal evidence and from knowledge of the Queen’s summer visits can be dated 1580, 1582, 1583, or 1584. It is not known whether a visit to Greenland, Hambleden, Bucks, took place. The Queen visited Lady Elizabeth at Sunninghill, 16-20 August 1580.
