Sr. I purposed my self to have com to the court to you, as soone as our Assises had but past: which made me differre my aunswer vnto you so long. But the Iudge having recommended som service vnto me to be don wth all expedition, I am inforced in stead of comming, to send you these few lines. Therein to render you all the hartyest thankes I may, for your so kind and so effectuall remembrance of mee. I acknowledge allso your greate love and favour, in the speedy dispatch of yt (a matter otherwise not vsuall in that place) And therein I accompt my self doubly indebted to you. In somme, you have bound me greately by this courtesy, and shall find me ever mindfull to deserve yt. I send this bearer according to your direction, to receave the bill of you, and to discharge all matters at the signet, and so to proceede with yt to the other seales. I pray you Sr. afforde him your good direction therein. And so differring my further thankes vnto you, till I see you, with returne of all good wisshes from all our company heere, I take my leave and committe you to gods good keeping From Bilingbeare the xxvijth of february 1593
