Overview

At the Berkshire Record Office, there is a list of books in the library of Billingbear in 1780. The goal of this section is to provide a complete description of that list, focusing on titles published before 1616. This is a major task, but one of the most important possible for solving the Shakespeare Authorship Question.

Using this as a jumping off point, I hope to discover the current location of every book on the list. Many are at Audley End, but the location of many others is unknown.
